Polina Zhang

Hi! I’m Xijia “Polina” Zhang, a Robotics Ph.D. student in the School of Interactive Computing. I completed my B.S.E. in Computer Science at University of Michigan and my B.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, both in 2024. I’m generally interested in establishing mutual understanding between humans and robots to bridge the communication, transparency, and collaboration gap between them. I focus particularly on Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI).
